Hand Wash Only: Gently hand wash your item in lukewarm water (maximum 30°C).
Delicate Detergent: Use a specialized wool/mohair detergent or a pH-neutral hair shampoo. Avoid excessive fabric softener, as it can cause the fluffy mohair fibers to "clump" together.
No Rubbing: Do not scrub or rub the material. Let it soak for 10–15 minutes, then gently press with your hands to release any dirt.
The Towel Technique: Never wring or twist the garment (this destroys the polyamide structure and stretches the mohair). Place the item on a clean towel, roll it up, and press firmly to absorb excess water.
Dry Flat: Lay the product flat on a dry towel. Reshape it gently by hand while it is still damp.
Avoid Heat Sources: Do not dry on a radiator or in direct sunlight; high heat can cause synthetic fibers (acrylic and polyester) to become stiff and brittle.
No Hangers: Items containing acrylic and polyester tend to stretch under their own weight. Always store your knitwear folded in the closet.
No Ironing: The steam and direct heat of an iron can "melt" synthetic fibers and ruin the mohair's texture. If absolutely necessary, use a garment steamer from a distance without touching the fabric.
