Carefully processed at Torcătoria Lânii (The Wool Spinners), this Țigaie wool brings the rustic texture, durability, and incomparable warmth of native natural fibers to your projects. Țigaie wool becomes softer and more "friendly" to the touch after its first wash.
Pure Authenticity: This is a "living" wool, minimally chemically processed, which preserves the thermal properties and specific structure of the Țigaie sheep breed.
What You Should Know:
Natural Scent: The wool retains its specific, natural sheep scent, a true indicator of purity and lanolin content. This scent fades significantly after the first few washes.
Natural Impurities: As a minimally processed product, it is completely normal to find small traces of vegetation (straw, hay) in the yarn. These are easily removed as you knit.

To preserve the beauty and shape of your 100% wool items, please follow these recommendations:
Washing: Hand wash at a maximum of 30°C or use the specialized wool cycle on your washing machine. Use a dedicated wool detergent or a mild shampoo.
Handling: Do not scrub, rub, or wring by twisting! Remove excess water by gently pressing the garment inside a thick towel.
Drying: Dry flat only (on a horizontal surface), away from direct sunlight or heat sources, to prevent stretching or deformation.
Storage: Store your garments folded (never on a hanger). We recommend using lavender sachets or cedarwood blocks for natural protection against moths.
