The Transilana yarns from the “Merino Alpaca” collection are premium, lightweight, and voluminous. They are crafted from a blend of 75% virgin European Merino wool and 25% Alpaca.
Wool remains an unrivaled, renewable, and breathable insulator, providing ideal thermal protection in any season. Paired with Alpaca, often called "the fiber of the gods", the result is a truly luxurious experience: a hypoallergenic blend that is surprisingly light yet significantly warmer, defined by supreme softness and exceptional durability.

Washing: Hand wash in lukewarm water (max 30°C). Use a specialized wool shampoo containing lanolin. Gently press the material in the water without scrubbing or rubbing the surface, as alpaca fibers can easily felt or develop pills if agitated.
The Towel Technique: Never wring or twist the garment. Place it on a clean towel, roll it up, and press firmly to remove excess water.
Drying: Lay the product flat on a dry towel over a horizontal surface. Reshape the garment by hand, carefully straightening the edges and seams while damp. Do not dry on a radiator or in direct sunlight.
Storage: Always store your alpaca pieces folded. Alpaca is a heavy fiber, and hanging it will cause the garment to stretch out of shape.
