The Transilana yarns from the “Clasic” collection are premium, lightweight, and voluminous, crafted from 100% virgin Merino wool.
Our wool is carefully selected from European Merino sheep. As a material, wool is renewable, biodegradable, and an ideal insulator for all seasons. It boasts the highest water-absorption capacity of any natural fiber, ensuring excellent breathability and reducing odors caused by perspiration. It is naturally durable, elastic, and soft against the skin.

Natural Properties: Merino wool is naturally antibacterial and odor-resistant, so it doesn’t require frequent washing. Often, simply airing it out in fresh air for a few hours is enough to refresh the garment.
Washing: Hand wash in lukewarm water (max 30°C) using only a specialized wool detergent (preferably one containing lanolin). Do not use fabric softener.
The Towel Technique: After washing, lay the piece on a clean, dry towel. Roll the towel up with the garment inside like a pancake and press firmly to absorb excess water. Never wring or twist the product, as this will permanently ruin its shape.
Drying: Lay the garment flat on a horizontal surface and gently reshape it by hand while it is still damp.
No Heat Sources: Do not dry wool on a radiator or in direct sunlight.
Storage & Protection: Always store your Merino pieces folded. Long-term storage on hangers will cause the shoulders to stretch. Since moths love Merino wool, place lavender sachets or cedarwood blocks in your wardrobe to keep them away.
